Ben Gibbard has announced that the Postal Service - his hugely successful electronica side-project - has been shelved once again.
Gibbard and his partner in crime, Jimmy Tamborello, reformed earlier this year to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Postal Service's only record, the classic 'Give Up'.
A series of high-profile tours, a reissue of the record and a couple of new tracks followed but now, following weekend performances at Lollapalooza, it's all over.
Gibbard tweeted:
Hey Chicago, these @PostalService shows at Lollapalooza and Metro will be our very last. Please come celebrate with us!
