Siobhan Donaghy Admits She Had Doubts Over Mutya Keisha Siobhan Reunion

Tuesday, 06 August 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Former Sugababe Siobhan Donaghy has confessed that she wasn’t entirely sure about reuniting with her former bandmates, Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan, who together now form new girl-group Mutya Keisha Siobhan.

The original Sugababes trio reunited last year and are now on the verge of releasing their debut single, Flatline, following their first gig last weekend. Despite having the passion to reignite their chart-topping Sugababe flame, Siobhan has admitted she initially had her doubts. She told Metro:

“I've had a dark moment, searching for 'Flatline'. Trying to find another 'Overload' moment or 'Push The Button' moment – that kind of surprise for people. It's really hard and, until you have that, you just can't relax. I barely slept at night. We knew when we wrote 'Flatline' we had it, that's when I relaxed.”

The girls put on their first show for 12 years on August 1, performing a set full of Sugababes classics alongside unheard new tracks. The crowd seemed to love the show as much as the girls did and with a new album on the way, the likelihood of some more shows is high. In the meantime, check back to Stereoboard for more Mutya Keisha Siobhan news!
