Bob Dylan To Showcase Artwork At National Portrait Gallery

Tuesday, 06 August 2013 Written by Huw Baines

Bob Dylan will exhibit a series of his pastel works at the National Portrait Gallery in London.

The folk legend's portraits will form the Bob Dylan: Face Value exhibition, which will run at the prestigious gallery from August 24 - January 5.

Sandy Nairne, director of the National Portrait Gallery, said:

"Bob Dylan is one of the most influential cultural figures of our time. He has always created a highly visual world either with his words or music, or in paints and pastels. I am delighted that we can now share these 12 sketches which were made for display at the National Portrait Gallery."
