Avicii Lands At The Top Of Stereoboard's Hot Ticket Chart

Dance superstar Avicii has toppled Reading Festival from the summit of Stereoboard's Hot Ticket Chart. The DJ will hit the UK for two August dates – in Glasgow and Belfast – and demand has surged as the clock ticks down. Reading has held firm in second spot though, with only a matter of weeks until the annual spectacular.
In third, up five places, is the legendary Rod Stewart, who's gearing up for arena shows in September and October, with four Glasgow dates and two nights at London's O2 Arena planned. In fourth is V Festival, which takes place this weekend. Heading the bill are Kings Of Leon and Beyonce, while the Script, Stereophonics and Jessie J are also set to take the stage.
Fleetwood Mac are up 15 places on the chart as their forthcoming tour approaches. The '70s rock titans will play a series of huge gigs at arenas across the UK and Ireland at the end of September, with Pink Floyd's Roger Waters just behind them on the list in sixth.
Flying the flag for the world of pop are Bruno Mars and One Direction. Mars is down two places at number seven prior to his October arena shows, while the current kings of the boyband castle are at number eight and have a massive stadium tour in the works for May 2014.
At number nine, hanging on to a top 10 spot for the second week in a row, is Leonard Cohen, who will bring his classic back catalogue of songs to UK arenas at the end of August. Rounding out the top of the list is hip hop giant Eminem, who will land in Scotland and Ireland for huge outdoor shows later this month.
