Leeds-based folk-rock outfit To Kill a King have shared the video for their new single Rays, set for release on October 7 on Xtra Mile.
Director Jack King said of the video: "The film is a sorry tale of a reclusive, agoraphobic teenage vampire who spends his first night out on the town for 20 years. Taking inspiration from 80's tongue in cheek vampire films like 'My Best Friend is a Vampire' and 'The Lost Boys', the video is a darkly comical yet violent take on one teenage boy's struggle to fit in and get a girlfriend."
The band will be performing at Reading and Leeds Festival this weekend and at Bestival on the Isle of Wight next month. This autumn they embark on their UK headline tour and have been announced as one of the main supports on Bastille’s UK tour this October.
