High Demand For Calvin Harris And Tiesto Tickets Expected

Dance giants Calvin Harris and Tiësto are heading out on tour together this December, visiting some of the UK's biggest arenas for what is being dubbed the EDM event of the year.
The duo will take the 'Greater Than' tour to Belfast, Dublin, London, Manchester and Glasgow, with fans already scrambling to search for ticket outlets, ready for the big on sale this Friday 23 August at 10am.
Ticketing sites and offices are preparing themselves for a huge rush for tickets, with many expecting a sell-out within minutes. Steve Roest, Head of Business Development at Viagogo, had this to say:
“The announcement of a joint tour between Calvin Harris and Tiesto over the weekend has sent fans into a frenzy. Even though tickets don’t go on sale until this Friday, viagogo, the world’s largest ticket marketplace, has already seen a 243% increase in ticket searches in the last 48 hours alone, as anticipation builds for what’s set to be one of hottest tours this year.”
Calvin Harris entered the music history books earlier this month, when his latest single Thinking About You became the ninth Top 10 hit from his 2012 album '18 Months'. He also delivered a massive main stage set at last weekend's V Festival, as well as his headline performance at T in the Park last month.
Tiesto is set to play the massive EDM festival Creamfields this weekend, before embarking on a Las Vegas residency next month.
