TLC Working With Ne-Yo and Lady Gaga on New Record

American hip-hop and R&B group TLC have revealed that they’re working with the likes of Lady Gaga and Ne-Yo on their new record.

The all-girl outfit have returned to music in the past couple of years, having parted ways in 2004 following the untimely death of their band mate Left Eye.

Now Rozonda Thomas and Tionne Watkins - Chilli and T-Boz - are back and recording some new material for their comeback album ‘TLC 20: 20th Anniversary Hits’, and they’ve worked with some big names - paying homage to their late pal.

Asked by Billboard about some collaborations, the pair said:

“[It’ll be us] and some guests. I say spice it up and have fun. A lot of people pay homage to Lisa... why not?"

The girls confirmed that they’d worked with Lady Gaga and Dallas Austin on ‘Posh Life’ and that Ne-Yo penned their track ‘Meant to Be’ - and it looks like there’ll be more tunes coming too. They continued:

“We're in the studio daily. We can't tell you yet but we've got some stuff brewing.”

TLC’s new album sees to be set for an October 15 release - are you looking forward to it? Leave us a comment in the box below. And fans, you’ll be happy to know a brand new film will be released to coincide with it - CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story premieres on VHL the week after!
