Marcus Mumford Solo Track Emerges

Thursday, 26 September 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

A track from Marcus Mumford, frontman of Mumford & Sons, has emerged online.

Fare Thee Well (Dink's Song), which you can check out below, features in forthcoming Coen Brothers feature film Inside Llewyn Davis and sees Marcus collaborating with Oscar Isaac, who incidentally plays the lead role in the new film.

The track will also be included on the official Inside Llewyn Davis soundtrack, which hits shelves on November 12. The film itself is set to hit cinema screens in December. Mumford isn’t the only big name to contribute to the score, Justin Timberlake, Bob Dylan, and a handful of others also feature.

Promoting the film, the Coen Brothers will be putting on a concert in New York this Sunday dubbed Another Day Another Time. It’ll focus on the folk scene of NY during the '60s, and will see Mumford playing alongside Jack White, Patti Smith, and a load of others.

As mentioned, you’ll have to play the waiting game to listen to the full soundtrack and watch the whole film, but for now, check out Mumford’s track below.
