Christine McVie Joins Fleetwood Mac On Stage in London - And Could Perform Tonight Too

Friday, 27 September 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Christine McVie joined Fleetwood Mac live on stage on Wednesday night, to perform their 1976 hit Don’t Stop.

McVie hadn’t performed with the band since 1998, but did play with Mick Fleetwood and ex-husband John for the Mick Fleetwood Blues Band in Hawaii earlier this year. Now, she’s finally joined up with her old bandmates - and if you missed it, you can check it out below.

The iconic band, which consists of Mick Fleetwood, Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks, and Christine’s former husband John McVie, kicked off a lengthy tour of the UK and Europe earlier this month. But the moment many fans had been waiting for happened on the second out of three nights they have on at the London O2 Arena, the last of which takes place tonight.

The news that McVie would be performing was broken earlier in the month, and came as a massive surprise to Fleetwood Mac fans, who were told by Nicks late on last year that there was more of a chance of an asteroid hitting earth than Christine joining them live on stage. But we doubt anyone will be complaining - check out some Twitter reaction below.

News did suggest that she’d be joining them again tonight, and though we can’t confirm it, we think it’s pretty likely - so if you’re a fan and haven’t got tickets yet, make sure you grab yours before it’s too late.

To find a pair through Stereoboard, check the dates and links below - the video of McVie performing will certainly persuade the unsure!
