The Wombats Unveil Brand New Single Your Body Is A Weapon

Indie-poppers the Wombats have unveiled their brand new single, Your Body is a Weapon.
The Liverpool trio are currently working on what will be their third studio album, but while there is still a lot of work to be done, they’ve unleashed the record's lead single Your Body is a Weapon.
The new track - which you can check out below, video and all - is said to be based on none other than One Direction’s Harry Styles, or at least the ‘disinterested’ face of a paparazzi waiting outside the BRIT Awards after party trying to snatch a snap of him.
Speaking of the track to NME, frontman Matthew Murphy explained:
“The song is loosely based on a 'pap' I witnessed outside a Brit awards after party, he was taking a picture of Conor Styles or whoever but looked thoroughly disinterested. It led me to feel slightly sorry for him.”
He went on to talk about the track itself, and said:
“We recorded the song in Los Angeles with Eric Valentine, over the course of 10 days in July. It was an easy track to record, although a few lyric changes were made to make it sound slightly less 'creepy'. At the end of the session, Eric said 'I'm really happy with how this has turned out, there is a quality to the lower-mid range that I have been searching for for years, and I think i've got it!' - We have absolutely no idea what this means."
