Steven Tyler - frontman of hard rock icons Aerosmith - has been snapped swapping t-shirts with Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.
The singer and his band are currently touring across South America, and performed in Montevideo, Uruguay last night. Having met up with Uruguayan leader Jose Mujica, and given him a signed guitar (perhaps a waste, seeing as he later admitted he didn’t know the band), they were greeted by another celebrity Uruguayan after the show.
Backstage, following a typically electrifying performance, they met up withSuarez, Liverpool’s star striker and one of the country’s favourite players, and it turns out he’s more of a fan of Aerosmith than Mujica.
After sharing a few words, the band presented Suarez with a signed Aerosmith shirt and in return, he gifted them a signed Uruguay shirt (the same alternative white strip they will use in their match on Friday) emblazoned with his name. Check out the pics via Twitter below!

The band have a few more American dates lined up, including gigs in Brazil and Mexico - if you’re in the area, click here to buy tickets! Aerosmith could potentially announce some more tour dates (Tyler has expressed his wishes to tour with AC/DC!), so keep your eyes peeled on the site for future updates!
