Nile Rodgers and Chic are set to perform on The X Factor next month.
The disco outfit will reportedly appear on Simon Cowell’s reality TV show on November 2 to perform a three song medley, comprised of some of their biggest hits. And, according to Digital Spy, he’ll be bringing his legendary 1959 Fender Stratocaster - aka The Hit Maker.
The appearance will see the band promoting their new compilation album, ‘Nile Rodgers Presents The Chic Organisation: Up All Night: The Greatest Hits Disco Edition’, which hits shelves on October 28.
Chic and Nile Rodgers will follow Lady Gaga and the Wanted, who will be performing their singles Venus and Show Me Love (America) in the coming weeks. Katy Perry, Robin Thicke, Ellie Goulding and Cher have all already taken to the X Factor Live stage, while One Direction are lined also set to appear as the series continues.
