Led Zeppelin To Release Two New Tracks In 2014

Thursday, 24 October 2013 Written by Jon Stickler

British rock legends Led Zeppelin are to release two "new" tracks next year.

The two previously unheard songs, which feature bassist John Paul Jones on vocals, were discovered on two forgotten tapes found by vocalist Robert Plant.

"I found some quarter-inch spools. I had a meeting with Jimmy and we baked them up and listened to them. And there's some very, very interesting bits and pieces that probably will turn up on these things."

The songs are set to feature as bonus tracks on the remastered editions of Zepp's classic albums, set for release next year. Plant also joked that Jones was attempting to bribe him to leave the tracks in the dark.

"So far he's up to giving me two cars and a greenhouse to leave them off the album."
