New David Bowie Tracks To Debut On Sirius XM

Friday, 25 October 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

SiriusXM has announced plans to launch a two-week service called The David Bowie Channel, which will featured unreleased tracks from the legend's recent back catalogue.

The satellite radio provider - which also operates via a website and mobile app - is set to broadcast music spanning across Bowie’s career, starting on October 30 and running 24 hours a day, seven days a week until November 12.

Among Bowie's classics, you’ll also get to hear a load of covers performed by the likes of Barbra Streisand, Nirvana, Duran Duran, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beck, Tears for Fears and more.

If that wasn’t enough, the station will also premiere five previously-unreleased tracks that are set to feature on Bowie’s highly-anticipated ‘The Next Day Extra’, the repackaging of his latest album ‘The Next Day’. You can connect to SiriusXM here - if you’re a Bowie lover, there’s not much more you could ask for.
