The Dirty Youth Reveal New Album Details And Muse Uprising Cover

Monday, 28 October 2013 Written by Jon Stickler

Welsh rockers The Dirty Youth are currently putting the finishing touches to their second album ‘Gold Dust’.

The follow-up to their well-received 2011 debut ‘Red Light Fix’, 'Gold Dust' was recorded at the legendary Rockfield Studios in Monmouthshire and sees The Dirty Youth take a huge leap forward.

Speaking about the band's rise to fame following debut single Fight, vocalist Danni Monroe comments:

“We were just hoping it would hit 1000 plays, now we’re soon going to hit 3 million views online, which is fantastic, and a testament to our amazing fans. This album is as much for them as it is for us – they are the ones who have helped us live out our dreams and we are extremely grateful. This is our reward to them for sticking with us on this journey.”

As a special treat ahead of revealing the first single from the album, The Dirty Youth have just unleashed an unexpected cover of Muse track, Uprising, to say thank you for waiting.
