Taylor Swift Tips Ed Sheeran For Further Worldwide Success

Monday, 11 November 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Taylor Swift has tipped Ed Sheeran for further international success.

Swift invited the singer-songwriter to open her recent North American tour and recorded a duet with him for 'Red', Everything Has Changed.

The duo performed the song together at Sheeran’s recent Madison Square Garden show and Swift expects his profile to rise even further with the release of his second album early next year.

She told Capital FM:

“I was almost tearing up because he introduced me and we're standing there in front of a screen in front of a sold out Madison Square Garden crowd and they all bought tickets with his name on it. I was so proud of him.

“I think for him, success worldwide is inevitable. That's going to happen. He's amazing, he's talented, he's got an amazing record.”
