Embrace performed their first gig together in over seven years on Sunday.
The Yorkshire five-piece performed to just 60 select fans at the disused Lumb Lane Mill in Bradford, with the wild show held in almost total darkness.
Talking about the gig, frontman Danny McNamara said:
"It's great to be back, the atmosphere tonight was magical! You're never sure how people are going to respond to your new stuff, especially when there's such a shift in the sound, but we've been uncompromising and that's when we work best, our audience knows it and the response has been incredible!"
McNamara also promised that ‘the next one is the big one’! He had this to say on future plans:
"We started doing these secret gigs because we wanted to do something unique that no-one else was doing. But if you thought this was ambitious, this was just the landing the next one is the big one ... Invasion.”
Embrace broke through in 1998 with their critically acclaimed debut album 'The Good Will Out', which featured the tracks Come Back To What You Know and All You Good Good People. Check out the teaser video for the secret gig below and look out for future Embrace updates!
