Lucy Spraggan has unveiled a music video for her track Tea & Toast.
On December 16, following her signing with Columbia Records and the release of her full studio debut album ‘Join The Club’, Spraggan will be re-releasing the single after its initial success on The X Factor.
The clip - which you can check out below - finds Spraggan reminiscing about old times over a slice of toast, a cup of tea, and an acoustic guitar.
Spraggan said of the song's creation:
“I was busking in town and this elderly couple walked past holding hands. Then the lady collapsed in the street and was unconscious. And the look on the husband’s face was like he’d never lost her before and he’d just lost her then. It was horrible and it inspired me to write a song — after I got them into an ambulance.”
