Monster Truck And Scorpion Child Announce 'Lords Of The Riff Tour'

Tuesday, 19 November 2013 Written by Jon Stickler

Canadian rockers Monster Truck and Texas rock 'n' rollers Scorpion Child will join forces in March 2014 for the Lords Of The Riff Tour.

Monster Truck recently wrapped their UK stint with the re-branded Kyuss Lives band, Vista Chino, and released their excellent debut album ‘Furiosity’ via Dine Alone in May. Check out a lyric video for The Lion, the latest cut from the record, here.

Scorpion Child will be returning to the UK after a debut performance in London earlier this month. The band released their colossal self-titled debut back in June via Nuclear Blast. Get your eyes on the video for their debut album's lead track, Polygon Of Eyes, here.

Truck frontman and bassist Jon Harvey said:

"We can't wait to get back over to the UK with Scorpion Child!  A certified rock n roll roadshow that will melt your face off! Prepare your booties for a lot of shakin'!"

Aryn Jonathan Black, vocalist for Scorpion Child, added:

"We are super excited to rejoin our European family, along with Canadian brethren Monster Truck for the Team Rock sponsored March tour!"

A support band for the tour is to be confirmed in the coming months. Check back with Stereoboard for details.
