Rod Stewart Reclaims Top Spot On Stereoboard's Hot Ticket Chart

Friday, 29 November 2013 Written by Stereoboard.com

Rod Stewart has reclaimed top spot on Stereoboard’s Hot Ticket Chart, sending McBusted, last week’s #1, tumbling down to seventh place.

The gravel-voiced rocker last sat atop the standings in September, prior to a run of arena shows, and is back at the summit after confirming a string of stadium gigs for 2014.

In second spot this week are comedy legends Monty Python, who are now set to play 10 shows at London’s O2 Arena in July next year, while Arctic Monkeys have waltzed back into the top three after tickets went on sale for their two Finsbury Park gigs in May.

Katy Perry and One Direction are either side of the Eagles, and Backstreet Boys sit at eight after confirming their UK return. Completing this week’s top 10 are Strictly Come Dancing and Michael Buble.

X Factor Live, Drake, Dolly Parton and Andre Rieu are in ahead of the stage version of Mrs Brown’s Boys, with Disney On Ice, Miranda Hart and Nitro Circus Live keeping the entertainment coming. James Arthur and Gary Barlow are in 19th and 20th, with Barlow having unveiled his solo comeback album, ‘Since I Saw You Last’, this week.
