Tom Odell has today premiered the video for new single I Know, set for release on Monday December 2.
Filmed in Sweden by Magnus Harder, the video accompanies what is the latest track to be lifted from Tom's critically acclaimed debut #1 album ‘Long Way Down’ that went gold in September this year.
Speaking about the video, Magnus comments:
"We wanted to shoot a stripped down performance piece on Tom in some moody Scandinavian light. Its something very subdued and at the same time, a very powerful song, so putting Tom in this alluring environment makes sense (at least for me).
The video was shot at Mörkö (the ‘dark island’) just south of Stockholm. Not the most easy going location…. pretty distant, lots of mud, camera trucks stuck in the mud, flat tyres, wild boars and very short daylight time."
Due to high demand, Tom has announced a third UK headline tour for early next year. Opening in February 2014, the tour will take in six cities including London’s O2 Brixton Academy.
