Blink 182 bassist Mark Hoppus hopes to have a new record on shelves by the time they headline Reading and Leeds in August 2014.
The pop-punk trio were the first headliners announced for the festivals on Tuesday night and Hoppus has now revealed more details of their forthcoming plans.
Speaking to BBC Radio 1 host Zane Lowe, Hoppus said:
“We are coming with new material. We go into the studio after the holidays, and the goal is to have an album out in time for the festival.”
The band will be joined at Reading and Leeds by Disclosure, Jake Bugg, Metronomy, I Am Legion, Wilkinson, and Of Mice and Men. If you want tickets, check the dates and links below.
