Over 15 years since announcing her retirement from Fleetwood Mac, Christine McVie will return to the band.
According to a post on Fleetwoodmacnews.com, Mick Fleetwood revealed the news to the audience at a show in Hawaii on Saturday night.
”This is the worst kept secret there is, but Christine McVie will be rejoining Fleetwood Mac.”
Back in September 2013, McVie joined her Fleetwood Mac bandmates on stage at London's O2 Arena. The appearance sparked rumours of a permanent reunion with the band, with McVie telling The Guardian that she would be interested in lining up with the band permanently.
“I like being with the band, the whole idea of playing music with them. I miss them all. If they were to ask me I would probably be very delighted… but it hasn’t happened so we’ll have to wait and see.”
