Neon Trees Announce April Release For 'Pop Psychology'

Monday, 13 January 2014 Written by Huw Baines

Neon Trees will release a new album, 'Pop Psychology', on April 22 through Island Def Jam.

Produced and mixed by Tim Pagnotta, the album is the follow-up to 2012's 'Picture Show'. The band's frontman, Tyler Glenn, said:

"The album is so special to me personally because it basically started from a place where I was broken and uninterested in anything to do with music. I had reached a breaking point. For me this record is a celebration, a cry for help, an admission of self doubt, and a revelation of self acceptance.  At the very least, it's a pop record, and to me the purest example of the sound of Neon Trees."

You can stream Sleeping With A Friend, the first cut from the record to make its way into the wide world, below.
