Ed Sheeran Takes Top Spot On Stereoboard's Hot Ticket Chart

Ed Sheeran has dethroned Beyoncé on this week’s Stereoboard Hot Ticket Chart, with the singer-songwriter outselling the queen of R&B after announcing a series of highly-anticipated arena shows for October.

One Direction drop from second to third, while DJs Avicii and Hardwell occupy fourth and fifth ahead of Boyzone and Michael Buble. Completing the top 10 this week are London Grammar, Drake and the Strictly Come Dancing arena tour.

The Eagles are up seven places to 11, with Little Mix up five and nestled just behind the soft-rock kings. Miranda Hart, Katy Perry and Rod Stewart are up next, with Cirque Du Soleil, a new entry last week, down from fifth to 16th.

John Newman has dropped nine places after securing a top 10 berth last week, with three heavyweights completing this week’s rundown. Arctic Monkeys are at 18, having this week led the nominations for the NME Awards, with Dolly Parton and Neil Young adding their class to proceedings in 19th and 20th respectively.
