UB40 Trio Ali Campbell, Mickey Virtue And Astro Recording New Album

Three original members of UB40 - Ali Campbell (pictured), Mickey Virtue and Astro - have announced that they are in the studio to record a new album.
The news has just broken via a statement on the trio's new website, ub40.org, while there are also some new dates announced.
"The three founding members have reformed and reunited to bring you the true sound of UB40. Ali, Astro and Mickey are currently in the studio working on a new album…more info soon :)"
Astro announced he was leaving the current UB40 line up - which features Duncan and Robin Campbell - back in November 2013. He then joined Campbell and Virtue to play a gig at London's IndigO2 on December 6. Both Campbell and Virtue left UB40 in 2008 and continued to play together.
