Suede's 'Bloodsports' Follow Up Set To Arrive In 2015

Thursday, 30 January 2014 Written by Elliott Batte

Suede frontman Brett Anderson has confirmed that the band are working on new material.

The band returned with ‘Bloodsports’ - their first album in over 10 years - in 2013 and are now preparing for its follow up, which could see a release next year.

Anderson told NME:

“We're busy writing at the moment. I'm very proud of 'Bloodsports', and the best thing about it is that it showed us that we can write new music, and relevant new music. We want to carry on writing and pushing forward, so we're taking it somewhere else now.

“I think it'll be out next year, as we’re just writing at the moment so realistically it will be next year.”

You can catch Suede performing live on March 30 at London's Royal Albert Hall for the Teenager Cancer Trust. Click here to search for tickets.
