One Direction Scoop Global Recording Artists Of 2013 Award

One Direction have been named Global Recording Artists Of 2013 following a new analysis of last year's music sales.
Music recordings body IFPI have collated physical sales, downloads and streams to reach the conclusion, which saw the boyband see off Eminem, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars and Katy Perry following the release of their 'Midnight Memories' album.
