Kings Of Leon Confirmed As Final Isle Of Wight Festival Headliner

Kings Of Leon have been announced as the Sunday headliner for this summer's Isle of Wight Festival.
The band will join fellow headliners Biffy Clyro and Red Hot Chili Peppers at the top of the bill, with Travis, the Specials, John Newman, Clean Bandit, Duke Dumont, Deap Vally, Nina Nesbitt, The Horrors, Gorgon City,The Strypes, The Polyphonic Spree, From the Jam, Neon Jungle, Swim Deep, Chlöe Howl, the Selecter, Peace, July Talk, The Move, Dappy, Lawson and the Vamps also announced.
Other acts previously confirmed for the June weekend bash include Calvin Harris, Rudimental, Passenger, the 1975 and the Waterboys. Speaking about their forthcoming appearance, Travis said:
"We’re made up that we are making a trip back to the Isle of Wight. Last time was a top gig. There’s a lot of rock ‘n’ roll history gone down on that little island and it’s great to be a part of it again."
Isle Of Wight Festival promoter John Giddings added:
"It’s a rock ‘n’ roll weekend! Biffy Clyro, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Kings of Leon – rock the Wight!"
The Isle of Wight Festival takes place at Newport’s Seaclose Park on June 12 and runs until June 15. For further details, head to isleofwightfestival.com. More acts are to be announced in the coming months.
