Johnny Marr has announced a one-off show at Leeds' Brudenell Social Club on March 24.
In August last year, following the February release of his debut solo album 'The Messenger', Marr revealed that he had already written tracks which he believed will feature on his next studio record.
"I've been asked to do a few soundtracks, so if the right one comes up I'll do that, but mainly it's a follow-up to 'The Messenger' that's on my mind, so after the South American tour in the spring I'll start recording. I've got four good songs already and I'm working on demos right now."
Marr's performance in Leeds will be his only headline UK club show of 2014.
