Bloodstock Announce Six More Bands For Sophie Lancaster Stage

Bloodstock have revealed six more bands confirmed to play the Sophie Lancaster stage in August.  

Throwing down the party gauntlet are returning favourites, the Phil Campbell All Starr Band. In addition, Nottingham thrashers Incinery, Swedish death meallers Diabolical, Mancunian black metallers Winterfylleth, southwest metal band Cambion and Norwegian groove metallers, Zerozonic will bolster the Sophie stage line up which is topped by Rotting Christ, Sister Sin and Satan.

Friday night’s main stage headliners are New Orleans sludgemeisters, Down. Joining them to head up Saturday night are black metal overlords, Emperor and closing out proceedings on Sunday are thrash legends, Megadeth. Also announced so far are Amon Amarth, Obituary, Crowbar, Hatebreed, Lacuna Coil, Carcass, Prong, Children Of Bodom, Saxon, Decapitated, Flotsam & Jetsam, Primordial and Evil Scarecrow.

Tickets are available now priced £130 plus booking fee for a four-day Thursday to Sunday weekend pass with camping. VIP tickets and upgrades are also now available, as well as the very popular ticket deposit scheme, which helps make a ticket purchase a bit more manageable. Bloodstock takes place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from August 7 to August 10 2014.
