LCD Soundsystem's Farewell Show To Get Vinyl Treatment

Friday, 28 February 2014 Written by Elliott Batte

LCD Soundsystem's farewell show is to receive the vinyl treatment as part of Record Store Day.

The dance-punk legends, fronted by James Murphy, split back in 2011, but not before waving goodbye to thousands of fans at Madison Square Garden.

'The Long Goodbye: LCD Soundsystem Live at Madison Square Garden' will arrive as a five disc set on April 19, with a wider digital and vinyl release following on May 19 through Parlophone.

The show was previously documented in the concert film Shut Up And Play The Hits.
