Queen and Adam Lambert have confirmed they will embark on a 19-date North American tour together, with Lambert taking up the reins as frontman of the legendary band.
Guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor will hit the road with the vocalist, starting on June 19 at Chicago's United Center, with stops planned in cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Vancouver, Montreal and Las Vegas.
The final date of the tour is scheduled for July 20 at Washington DC's Merriweather Post Pavilion. If the tour turns out to be a success, plans will be made to expand the dates across the world. The news was broadcast on Good Morning America.
Tickets for the anticipated tour go on sale later this week. Dates are as follows:
