Yellowcard Part Ways With Drummer

Friday, 14 March 2014 Written by Elliott Batte

Yellowcard have parted ways with their drummer, Longineu Parsons.

The band are currently demoing material for their ninth studio album, but it's been revealed that Parsons, who helped form the pop-punk troupe back in 1997, won’t be behind the kit.

Yellowcard broke the news in a short statement. It read:

“It has been announced that long-time drummer Longineu ‘LP’ Parsons III has left Yellowcard. Longineu has decided to pursue other musical interests. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors. A replacement has not been announced.”

Yellowcard released 'Ocean Avenue Acoustic' in 2013 to celebrate the album's 10th anniversary.
