Wolf Gang Set To Return In April With 'Black River' EP

Friday, 21 March 2014 Written by Elliott Batte

Alt-rockers Wolf Gang are set to make their return this April, with a brand new EP lined-up for release.

‘Black River EP’ is the band’s first new material since their critically-acclaimed debut album ‘Suego Faults’ hit shelves in 2011, and heads up their highly-anticipated second record. The as-yet-untitled album, which is currently being constructed in the studio, will be released via Cherrytree / Interscope Records in 2014.

Iconic producer Flood, who's worked in the past with the likes of Depeche Mode, U2, The Killers, Smashing Pumpkins and Nine Inch Nails, has been working with the band on the new album. Max and co posted this to their official site.

"Very proudly confirm that the man who is making our album come to life is no other than the legendary Flood.

Flood and his studio team; men with appropriately glorious names such as ‘Caeser’, ‘Cecil’, ‘Drewpiter’ and ‘John’, have brought out the absolute best in all of us as musicians and arrangers, constantly encouraging us to take the harder path in the search for the perfect take, always pushing us to explode when the song calls for it, and reminding us to sit back when a melody needs more air."

Wolf Gang broke the news of the new 'Black River EP' via Twitter.

The band have been touring alongside Bastille in recent months, and tour the US in May - click here to search for tickets!
