Coldplay To Perform 'Ghost Stories' On TV Special

Coldplay will perform their new album, 'Ghost Stories', in its entirety as part of a TV special to be broadcast around the world next month.

The show, recorded by Paul Dugdale at a custom-built amphitheatre in front of an audience of 800 fans, will air on May 18 in the US and Canada, May 19 in Italy and Spain and May 22 in France. UK broadcast details are yet to be confirmed.

'Ghost Stories' is the band's sixth album and will be released on May 19. You can check out a trailer for their upcoming TV spot below.

Meanwhile, Coldplay have been confirmed to headline BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Glasgow on May 24 and will also play London's Royal Albert Hall on July 1 as one of six intimate shows to celebrate the new record.
