Slayer Debut New Track Implode

Thursday, 24 April 2014 Written by Jon Stickler

Slayer have debuted a brand new song, Implode, their first new studio recording in five years.

The track had its global premiere at last night's Revolver Golden Gods Awards in Los Angeles. Slayer surprised the capacity crowd with an unannounced performance, kicking off the show with a three-song set. To download Implode visit slayer.net.

Later this year, Slayer begin recording a new album, tentatively set for an early 2015 release date. The album will be released on Nuclear Blast Records through the band’s own label imprint, closing a 28-year relationship with Rick Rubin and American Recordings.

Slayer have lined up a duo of shows in Belfast and Dublin ahead of their performance at Sonisphere Festival this coming July.

Slayer Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows:

Mon June 30 2014 - BELFAST Limelight
Tue July 01 2014 - DUBLIN Academy
