Black Star Riders Line Up Summer Tour

Friday, 09 May 2014 Written by Jon Stickler

Black Star Riders are set to hit the road in the UK again this July.

Fresh from a tour in late 2013, the band that features Thin Lizzy members Ricky Warwick, Damon Johnson, Scott Gorham and Marco Mendoza together with drummer Jimmy DeGrasso will embark on a run of UK shows with a headline slot at Steelhouse Festival in South Wales.

Black Star Riders will head back in the studio this October to record the follow up to their 2013 debut, 'All Hell Breaks Loose'.

Vocalist and guitarist Ricky Warwick said:

"Joe and myself have been best friends for years and as fans of the first BSR record, it was only natural to have Joe and Ronan work with us on the follow up. Joe and Ronan did a great job on the Thin Lizzy reissues a couple of years ago with Scott, so its great to have the dream team back together. We are very excited about what we can achieve with the new record and its great to play back in the UK again just before we head into the studio."
