Bob Dylan Posts Sinatra Cover As First Song Lifted From New Album

Wednesday, 14 May 2014 Written by Huw Baines

Bob Dylan has posted a cover of Frank Sinatra's Full Moon And Empty Arms as the first taste of his forthcoming album.

While details on the record, which will be Dylan's 36th studio effort and the follow-up to 2012's 'Tempest', are vague, a spokesperson confirmed to Rolling Stone that it is expected this year.

Along with hosting the song, written by Ted Mossmann and Buddy Kaye and a hit for Sinatra back in 1945, Dylan's website is currently displaying a shot of the folk legend in the distinctive style of a Reid Miles Blue Note album sleeve, complete with the words 'Shadows In The Night'.

Bob Dylan Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows:

Mon June 16 2014 - CORK Live At Marquee
Tue June 17 2014 - DUBLIN O2 Dublin
