Josh Homme will play a rare solo acoustic show as part of James Lavelle's Meltdown Festival.
The Queens Of The Stone Age frontman will tread the boards at the Royal Festival Hall on June 16 as part of the event, which has been curated this year by the co-founder of U.N.K.L.E. In previous years, David Bowie, Patti Smith, Massive Attack, Morrissey and Jarvis Cocker have helmed proceedings.
In a statement, Lavelle said:
"I'm thrilled to announce my long term friend and collaborator Joshua Homme, who will be playing a one off acoustic gig that will round off what has been an incredible year for one of the world's greatest rock 'n' roll stars. Expect something truly magical."
Tickets for Homme's set are on sale at 10am on May 16, while Chrissie Hynde, Goldie, Trentemøller, Mark Lanegan and more will also turn out for Lavelle's Meltdown.
