MIA Posts Double Bubble Trouble Clip

Tuesday, 20 May 2014 Written by Huw Baines

MIA has posted a new video for Double Bubble Trouble, the latest cut from her 'Matangi' album.

The self-directed clip initially focuses on the 3D printing of guns, with a voiceover saying: "What if you could make weapons like these in your own home using what’s called a three dimensional printer? This sounds like science fiction, but to some, it’s not so far fetched."

MIA has also expressed frustration with her label over the release of the video. Writing on Twitter, she said: "My label has my video , they havnt uploaded for 4 days > they wont let me upload > whats is the point? smh"

Meanwhile, MIA will join Chase & Status and Nas, who will perform ‘Illmatic’ in full, at Lovebox this summer. Also heading to Victoria Park in London between July 18-19 are A$AP Rocky, Joey Bada$$, the Horrors, Sub Focus, Moderat, Crystal Fighters, Katy B and BANKS.
