The Subways Announce New Single My Heart Is Pumping To A Brand New Beat

The Subways will return on June 23 with the release of a one off summer single, My Heart Is Pumping to a Brand New Beat.
Released via the band's own label, YFE (Young For Eternity) Records and a newly penned deal with Cooking Vinyl, My Heart Is Pumping to a Brand New Beat was written, produced and mixed by vocalist Billy Lunn. The single will mark 10 years since the band won the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition as an unsigned act.
Speaking about the track, Lunn said:
“I wrote this track after I recently resolved a difficulty in my life as I was surrounded by the pulsing beats of my favourite songs and a throng of complete strangers crashing around the dance floor. Music has a wonderful power to heal wounds.”
The band will play Glastonbury and main stage slots at this year's Hurricane and Southside Festivals in Germany. They also headline Camden Rocks Festival in London this weekend.
