Sikth, Monuments And Jon Gomm Added To Tech-Fest 2014 Line Up

Tuesday, 17 June 2014 Written by Jon Stickler

Sikth, Monuments and Jon Gomm are the final bands to join the bill for this summer's UK Tech-Fest, at Newark Showground between July 10 and 13.

Following the success of the sell-out event in 2012, UK Tech-Fest went outdoors in 2013, packing roughly 1000 people into the Plough events field in Peterborough. Now at the Newark Showground, Tech-Fest 2014 is shaping up to be even bigger with more bands and activities.

Tech-Fest organiser, Simon Garrod, said:

"Sikth are arguably the most important band in UK tech-metal. They have inspired pretty much  every band on this entire bill, and without them, the UK tech scene would not be anything like it is today. So it is a great honour to have them play, and i hope it feels like a home coming for them!

"It is always a pleasure to have Monuments, who are have also been a massive inspiration to our younger bands, and Jon Gomm is a really big deal for us as his acoustic wizardry adds a whole new dimension to the event. Bring on July 10th!"

Day tickets are on sale now priced from £15 and £25, with full weekend tickets priced from £59. For further details head to uktechfest.com.
