Pink Floyd are set to release a new album, ‘The Endless River’, in October.
The record is set to be the prog legends’ first release since ‘The Division Bell’ in 1994 and will serve as a ‘swansong’ for keyboard player Rick Wright, who died in 2008.
News of ‘The Endless River’ was broken by Polly Samson, lyricist on ‘The Division Bell’ and wife of David Gilmour . She tweeted:
Btw Pink Floyd album out in October is called "The Endless River". Based on 1994 sessions is Rick Wright's swansong and very beautiful.
Meanwhile, Pink Floyd recently reissued ‘The Division Bell’ on June 30 to celebrate the album’s 20th anniversary.
