Label Chief Dismisses Adele '25' Speculation

Thursday, 17 July 2014 Written by Huw Baines

Beggars Group chief Martin Mills has said that there is “no truth” in rumours that Adele will soon release ‘25’ and tour next year.

A tweet from the World Music Awards - which has since been deleted - seemed to confirm that the record, the follow up to 2011’s ‘21’, is on its way, but Mills has since dismissed the post in an interview with Billboard

He said that simply that there is “no truth in this”. Adele herself teased the album’s release earlier this year with a tweet that read: “Bye bye 25...See you again later in the year.”
