UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell, Astro And Mickey Virtue Announce New Album And 2015 UK Shows

Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue, three of the founding members of UB40, have announced details of their first new album together, as well as shows at Birmingham's NIA and London's O2 Academy Brixton.
The reunited trio will release 'Silhouette' on October 6 via Cooking Vinyl, preceded by the album's lead single and title track on August 18. Recorded at London's RAK Studios, 'Silhouette' is a mix of new songs and reggaefied cover versions of classics by the Beatles, Bob Dylan, the Chi-Lites and others.
To support the release, Ali, Astro and Mickey will play a handful of shows in December, followed by two new shows, Birmingham's NIA and London's O2 Academy Brixton, in April 2015. Special Guests at the London show will be Brand New Heavies. Tickets for the new dates are on sale at 9am on July 23.
