Billy The Kid To Follow UK Shows With Frank Turner-Produced New Album

Billy The Kid will follow up a short run of UK shows with the release of ‘Horseshoes & Hand Grenades’, her fourth album, on September 8.
Recorded with Frank Turner, who also guests on the record, ‘Horseshoes & Hand Grenades’ will be put out by Xtra Mile and arrives in the wake of a recent tour with Chuck Ragan and Northcote. She said:
“I definitely took Frank's lead as far as how to approach the recording process. Eventually it became apparent that we were a pretty good team but he came up with the concept of recording ‘live off the floor’ which I think contributed a lot to the finished product. I just think it sounds badass.”
Billy The Kid will play four UK shows - in Bristol, Leeds, Manchester and London - at the end of August and early in September before heading out as support to Billy Bragg in the US. Turner, meanwhile, recently announced a new tour of venues usually neglected by major artists. Head here for more.
