J Mascis Joined By Cat Power's Chan Marshall For Wide Awake

J Mascis has released the latest taste of his new album, ‘Tied To A Star’, which is out on August 25 through Sub Pop.
Wide Awake features vocals from Chan Marshall of Cat Power, who’s among a number of collaborators on the record. Also involved are Ken Maiuri of Young@Heart Chorus, Black Heart Procession’s Pall Jenkins and former Miracle Legion frontman Mark Mulcahy.
‘Tied To A Star’ was produced and recorded by Mascis and is the follow up to 2011’s ‘Several Shades Of Why’, while Mascis also released ‘I Bet On Sky’ with Dinosaur Jr in 2012.
