Following a trio of shows this week, Solemn Sun have set up new live dates for November.
After announcing in July they would be returning under the name of "Solemn Sun" and making a change in their musical style, Jim Lockey and the band will play a handful of shows later this year, including visits to Leeds' Cockpit, Glasgow's King Tuts, Nottingham's Bodega Social Club, Birmingham's Sunflower and Oslo in London.
Speaking about the change, Jim says:
“We’d reached the juncture where most would wander the beaten path and churn out a carbon copy of the last effort. Having little time for bands that stagnate and even less for being consumed by the scene we found ourselves in, we decided we would take our band back from what it became. We would re-establish ourselves as people, reinvent the band we are and restart our journey again on our own terms.“
Tickets are on sale now, priced at £8.00 (£9.00 in London), plus fees.
