Live To Release 'The Turn' In October

Friday, 29 August 2014 Written by Huw Baines

Live will release ‘The Turn’, their first album since the departure of frontman Ed Kowalczyk, on October 27.

Chris Shinn has taken over vocal duties for the collection, which was produced by the band and Jerry Harrison, who was also behind the controls for ‘Mental Jewelry’, ‘Throwing Copper’ and ‘The Distance To Here’.

Discussing Shinn’s appointment, guitarist Chad Taylor said: “The only name suggested by all three of us was Chris Shinn.  There was no audition process.  We simply called our friend and asked if he wanted to make Live music.”

The band have also launched a Pledge Music campaign, with 10% of proceeds going to Musicians On Call.
